Production Stages
Our lodges are constructed on a steel chassis and are timber framed, we use thick, stronger and heavier robust timber joists and we pay particular attention to our energy efficiency to keep heat loss to a minimum, providing all owners with reassurance that they will not occur high energy bills or unnecessary maintenance charges.

Our lodges are built to last!

  • We are committed to using only sustainable wood products, and source most of our timber from Scandanavia, that carries FSC *or PEFC* certification (FSC = Forest Stewardship Council *PEFC Programme for the Endoresment of Forest Certification).

We constantly monitor our homes with an eye to energy saving, and increased insulation. We set ourselves challenging targets, so that we can achieve energy values that give us U values that not only meet current industry standards, but exceed them. As we build bespoke there are always other options available i.e. Argon filled double glazed units or less insulation for summer letting as in the Tamar Lodge.
